Class-Leading Power To Weight
The CB750 Hornet is generating a buzz, and it’s all about its impressive power-to-weight ratio. Featuring a parallel twin-cylinder engine, the CB750 Hornet enhances intake efficiency with a pumped-up vortex, while its supersport cylinder technology reduces friction. This powerful engine delivers a peak output of 67.5kW @ 9,500 RPM and 75Nm of torque @ 7,250 RPM, pushing hard through the mid-range for a thrilling rush up the rev counter. It feels and sounds great too, with a rock-solid low-end pulse and thrilling exhaust note. Twist the throttle and instantly feel smooth starts and even smoother running at low speeds – without sacrificing power. An engine this potent packaged in such a lightweight chassis means there’s only one thing you have to do. Hold on and enjoy.
Ultimate Control and Connectivity
You’re fully in charge of the CB750 Hornet’s stunning engine. Throttle By Wire (TBW) precision equals 3 default riding modes: Sport, Standard and Rain, as well as a customisable User mode to fine-tune (through 3 levels) Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and Wheelie Control. You can also individually adjust Engine Power and Engine Braking. It’s easy too – the new 5-inch full-colour TFT Meter offers a beautiful, intuitive interface as well as Honda RoadSync for connectivity. The Hornet’s new LED headlight provides up to twice the brightness improving visibility when you leave the streetlights behind, and automatic indicator cancellation lets you focus on taking those corners and driving on.
Pure Streetfighter Style
Shaped from scratch by the ambitious young designers in our Rome R&D facility, with technical input from our Japanese development engineers, the CB750 Hornet’s sharp minimalism brings a hardcore attitude to the street. The fuel tank, inspired by the outline of a Hornet’s wing, commands attention while the metallic red frame and anodised front forks – available with 2 paint options – pop with vibrant aggression. LED lighting is the premium finishing touch, with a signature new headlight leading the way.
Fast, Agile Fun
Designed around a steel diamond frame, the CB750 Hornet has a seat height of 795mm, so it’s a joy to manage. With a naturally upright riding position and 190kg kerb weight, it steers fast with precise control and feedback from 41mm Showa SFF-BP™ USD forks. Revised damping settings for the Pro-Link rear shock provides more riding comfort and improved shock absorbance in tougher conditions. Carving a city block or set of corners, its compact dimensions equal razor-sharp side-to-side agility, while 4-piston radial mount front calipers bite hard for high-performance stopping power.
Advanced Technology for Riding Perfection
Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and Wheelie Control operate through 3 levels of intervention to manage rear wheel traction and front wheel lift. Each riding mode uses a default HSTC setting.
New Colour 5-inch TFT Display Loops You In
Easily operated by 4-way toggle on the left handlebar, the highly visible, customisable screen features Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation, music and many more functions.
Power and Torque for High Performance
Want power to enjoy? The 755cc, short stroke 8V engine produces a heavyweight 67.5kW @ 9,500rpm, with an assist/slipper clutch to ease upshifts and manage the rear wheel under rapid downshifting. With lively, torque-rich mid-low speeds, you get smooth starts and running at low speeds around town.
Enhanced Style and Functionality
The CB750 Hornet’s signature streetfighter styling gets an enhanced silhouette with the new headlight shape. Compact design meets improved light distribution with a dual LED lens unit that’s up to twice as bright for peace of mind at night. With a narrow tank and seat area, you get sharper style and better footing for a boost in style and rideability.
Lightweight Chassis
The CB750 Hornet’s lightweight steel diamond-style frame ensures fast steering agility, making it highly responsive to every rider input. Coupled with high-quality Showa suspension, this setup delivers a nimble and fast-turning package that inspires confidence, regardless of your riding experience.
Distinct Sound
The CB750 Hornet’s twin-cylinder engine, with its 270° crank, offers a unique blend of power and character. It produces a deep, low-rpm pulse that builds into a thrilling howl at high revs. This carefully tuned exhaust note not only enhances the riding experience but also delivers the distinctive soundtrack of the Hornet’s horsepower.
35kW A2 Licence Option Available
An ECU re-write is available from Honda dealers to restrict the CB750 Hornet’s engine to 35kW – making it A2 licence friendly. It can be converted back to full power by an authorised Honda dealer.
